“OUT OF DARKNESS HE CALLED ME…”
…WITH THE LOVE HE DISPLAYED FOR ME.
“Greater love hath no man than this; that a man lay down his life for his friends.”John 15:13.
My family in Christ…Believers…, can you imagine what love the Father has for us through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? I mean, have you really given it much thought? Not only a love [that] a Holy and the all powerful God of creation would even consider us as a thought, but a love that’s so powerful and inseparable that He would ultimately send His one and only Son to die to save us all and all of creation by that same love, because of His great love for us? Have you meditated on that thought? Or even considered what our Lord had to go through in that hour, being found without sin carrying the sins of the world upon Him? What a terrifying dark hour that moment had to be. I couldn’t fathom the thought, though I have tried, which had led me to a mess of tears, because I couldn’t contain the emotions that accompanied the thought. During this process of growth, falling, getting up and trying again, repenting and pressing forward, struggling, yet holding on to that mustard seed faith even while the enemy taunted me, attacked me…He has always been right there never leaving my side because of that love He has for us. That alone humbles me, because I know I’ve felt I’m not worthy of such a great love and amazing grace. But He continues to remind me that; “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” Philippians 1:6. He called me out of darkness and what a darkness it was. A life of self destruction, a life that had became incorporated with the world of things. Chasing after endless illusions the enemy would lay before me without realizing while all the time heavens eyes were upon me and at the proper time…He called me, Heintroduced Himself to me and this not with words only, but by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to let me know HE…is alive, that HE…does exist and that HE…has a love for us that no mind could possibly conceive. Amen. I‘ve heard some ask the question that if indeed a person be saved, why does so many continue to fall during their walk of faith? It would leave some to believe that a Christian/Believer’s conversion is not authentic if one continue to fall into sin, which however leaves us with those that point the finger, accuse, judge, and make comments like; “That’s why I don’t trust churches, or Pastors”…etc…, right? In my times of failures, it would crush me literally, because I knew I loved God, my Lord, and His Word, but I couldn’t for the life of me understand why after all I’ve seen and witnessed (spiritually) why I continued to repeat the same actions, habits as before after accepting Christ, which left me feeling as the lease of God’s household. Then witnessing the struggle of the Apostle Paul…; “For we know that the Law is spiritual, but I am of flesh, sold into bondage to sin. For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate.…” Romans 7:14-23 (please read) …began to shine light on the fact that even though being born again caught up with Christ spiritually in positioning, physically, mentally and emotionally we’re going through this process of change to become more like our Lord to continue this great commission and walk of faith, however by no means does this permit one to continue in the sinful nature you were once called out of, but to resist, and to fight to make that calling sure as we press forward in faith and love. Amen. This is what such a display of God’s love compels one to do…fight for that positioning in the Kingdom of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ in which we stand united as the Body…Praise God. Therefore, may this great display of God’s love compel us into action to stand up in faith as a spiritual house, a spiritual family in Christ Jesus our Lord unwavering and uncompromising with the enemy as we continue in the great work set before us. May all power, honor and glory be given to such an awesome God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob continue to watch over, protect, and bless everything you do and touch in Jesus name. Amen.
