We are definitely dealing with religion, ethics and morality in this case. Non-violence does not equate to inaction, it means first and foremost to do no harm. We need to learn empathy, love, understanding, tolerance for all things on earth. We grow as individuals when we practice this philosophy; we learn to be kinder and more patient regardless of what is done to us.
Non violence generally speaking is inspiring because it is a high effort & goes against the human nature. By nature most people are violent either in words, thoughts or actions. That’s why in some religions people spent their entire lives to unlearn violence from their lives. I know of only one person who stood against the crowd accused of worst things possible & he didn’t wanted or even felt like blowing them all up. Jesus Christ, ah… he was also Divine – that’s must the key.
